After School Pitching Clinics We will be announcing the dates for our pitching clinics in the next few days. We will also offer programs on the weekends. This is the perfect time to hone your pitching skills. We will instruct students on proper mechanics as well as teach different pitches based on age and ability levels. We will give the players a comprehensive guide to in-season and off-season pitching drills. Students will learn proper mechanics and each will benefit having their throwing motion analyzed. The clinic is held at The Spartans Sports Academy, our new indoor training center located at 19 Williams St, Closter, NJ. Click for directions. Each player will get an age specific pitch count that should be followed during their upcoming season! Click to print an application. The Spartans Sports Academy has a regulation indoor pitching mound, and two Pitcher's Mate Backstops to simulate throwing to a batter. By keeping the enrollment to only 8 students we can provide plenty of individual attention. The clinics are open to all boys and girls ages 5 - 12. Topics Covered:
Cost Per Player: $105 Each player will see their throwing improve. Even if you are not a pitcher, you can still attend the clinic as you will learn proper throwing mechanics that can be put to use for whatever position you play. Each player will practice pitching from a regulation pitching mound. We will put the campers through a series of fun and challenging drills that will promote proper mechanics. Each participant will go at their own pace and will have a lot of 'hands on' instruction during the clinic. Students will be videotaped using a high speed digital camera and laptop computer!
