Spartans Camp - Celebrating 17 Years
The Spartans Sports Camp will celebrate our 17th Anniversary this June! We are widely considered the premier sports camp in the Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY area! We run baseball, softball, basketball and an all sports camp with soccer / golf / lacrosse. We also offer private baseball and softball instruction throughout the year. We run year round baseball and softball clinics and a 7 week summer camp covering baseball, softball basketball and an all sports camp. The Spartans Camp runs full and 1/2 day sports camps all summer long. We also run indoor baseball and softball clinics throughout the year in our private indoor training facility - The Spartans Sports Academy.
Congratulations to Nick Laracuente named Liberty League Rookie of the Year at Skidmore College! Nick is a student of Spartans and was named 1st Team All State his senior year at Tenafly High in 2007.

Camp will run for 7 weeks you have the option to attend any number of weeks you want. We will hold Baseball, Softball, Basketball and an All Sports Camp at Holy Family School in Norwood, NJ. Our camps offer full and 1/2 day options and are open to boys and girls ages 5 - 16. Each age group is led by a professional coach. In addition we will hold additional weeks of camp in Cresskill, Old Tappan and in Nanuet, NY.

We are celebrating our 17th Anniversary this June!
In addition to attracting players from NY, NJ & CT, we had kids from North Carolina, Vermont, Florida, Poland, Japan, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates attend last summer! We have assembled an outstanding staff of college and high school coaches as well as former professional players. Our coaches are also school teachers who are CPR & First Aid Certified and also hold advanced degrees in education. We are also registered and inspected by the Dept. of Health.

Mini Sluggers Summer Camp
We are pleased to announce we are now offering our Acclaimed Program during the Summer! Mini Sluggers is an innovative sports program designed for younger children. Our Rookie League is for ages 18 months - 36 months. Our Major League program is for ages 3 - 5. Age specific sports training will take place in a fun, relaxed and non-competitive environment. Classes will be held Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 12;00 pm. We will offer 5 weeks of camp from June 29 - July 31. If you're looking for your child to improve his or her fine and gross motor skills while having fun and learning at the same time, then this program is for you.

Nick Laracuente, a Tenafly High School senior pitcher. Nick finished with an impressive 11-1 record and over 90 strikeouts Name 1st Team All County and 1st Team All State!

Alex Caravella. A sophomore lefty pitcher for the Old Tappan Varsity Team. Alex has emerged as the Ace of the Staff and currently has a 4-1 record. Alex pitched his team to the County Finals by beating perennial powerhouse St. Joes and he also hit a homerun that game! Alex was named 2nd Team All County!

Ian Oates, Junior at Cresskill High School. Ian is the starting Varsity Shortstop and has been so since his sophomore year. He currently boasts a .500 batting average and is one of the top hitters in the county. He was named 2nd Team All County.

Charlie Fallon, senior at Old Tappan will play this fall at University of Tampa, FL.

Vinny Lupino, a Freshman at Bergen Technical Academy was recently called up to the Varsity Team and is the starting first baseman and pitcher!

Brittany Perskin, Sophomore at Northern Valley Demarest is starting in LF for the Varsity Softball Team.

Michael Scorinci, an 8th grader at Pearl River Middle School is currently the starting Shortstop and #1 Pitcher on the Freshman Team!

Brooke Schmelz, a Freshman Catcher at Bergenfield HS started JV and was called up to catch Varsity the 2nd half of the season!

Congratulations to Matthew Younghans Rockland County High School Baseball Player of the Year! Matthew is a former camper of ours and we're very proud of him. Matthew just graduate from Nanuet HS where he broke virtually every offensive record during his HS career. Matt has received a baseball scholarship to DI Hartford University! Congratulations and good luck Matt.

We've had countless campers go on to play High School and College Baseball and have been named to various All League and All County Teams. Many of our current campers have made various All Star Teams in Little League as well.
